Theraplay visit
Theraplay is a dyadic child and family therapy that has been recognized by the Association of Play Therapy as one of seven seminal psychotherapies for children. Developed over 50 years ago, and practiced around the world, Theraplay was developed for any professional working to support healthy child/caregiver attachment. Strong attachment between the child and the important adults in their life has long been believed to be the basis of lifelong good mental health as well as the mainstay of resilience in the face of adversity. Modern brain research and the field of neuroscience have shown that attachment is the way in which children come to understand, trust and thrive in their world.
Supervised Visitation
- Supervised visitation services for individuals with court-ordered visitation requirements
- All services are provided in a safe, nurturing environment
- For children in foster care services, agencies can make arrangements to utilize the spaces.
- Services are available for children and families involved with in our region, private pay agreements are made between our agency and the individual requiring supervision
- Cost $50 per hour.
Therapeutic Supervised Visits
The supervisor of the visit initially observes the interaction between the child(ren) and the adult and then sets parenting goals to achieve. The supervisor may assist the parent with providing strategies for parenting during the visits as well as after the visit with goals to achieve per visit with the goal of improved positive parenting. Cost: $75.00 per hour.
Family Training
Family Training is a series of working together with families to create a healthier household for your family. Families are unique in their own way. Well some have challenges we will help you explore those challenges and also build on your strengths. Our program will help you with meal planning budget planning and behavior planning within your own home. Call to make an appointment today. Cost $100 per hour.
RESPITE/SKILLS Training
Respite or Skills training time for our child is a drop off service that you can schedule for your child while you enjoy some time to yourself. Higher needs children may be a different rate. Call to make an appointment today. Cost $20 per hour. Additional children rates vary.
